In Surgical Inpatient Wards 3A and 3B at Lohja Hospital, we treat surgical patients and patients who have been in an accident or are undergoing rehabilitation.

The Surgical Inpatient Wards 3A and 3B have a total of 57 patient beds.

In Surgical Inpatient Ward 3A, we treat surgical patients, for example, in general surgery, urological surgery, gastric and intestinal surgery, plastic surgery, ear, nose and throat surgery, as well as patients with wounds or infections and those who are undergoing examinations.

In Surgical Inpatient Ward 3B, we treat, for example, patients undergoing bone surgery as well as trauma and rehabilitation patients. Hip and knee replacement surgery, femoral neck and femoral fracture surgery are the most common procedures performed on our patients.

In addition, patients who have required specialized surgery in hospitals in the Helsinki metropolitan area will be transferred to our wards for further treatment.

Our ward emphasizes the importance of rehabilitative care. An important part of the patient’s overall good care is also the consideration, support and guidance of family members.
