Psychiatric Ward, Lohja HospitalKeywords:
- Lohja Hospital
We treat patients requiring psychiatric care.
Our ward is responsible for the reception and treatment of acute patients requiring immediate hospitalization. We treat cases of psychotic disorder, severe depression, suicidal tendencies and crises in severe personality disorders, and also intoxicant psychoses except for alcohol withdrawal delirium (which belongs to internal medicine).
The average length of a treatment period is about two weeks. Patients are treated in a social environment, with family sessions, couple sessions, or network sessions. Your relationship with your primary nurse will continue flexibly on an as-needed basis during outpatient appointments after discharge from the hospital.
