We have 12 dialysis machines in our unit and we perform treatments in three shifts, Mon-Sat morning shifts and Mon-Wed-Fri evening shifts.
We have approximately 35 patients being treated regularly, and in addition we also treat course and holiday dialysis patients. The principles of our operations include supporting independence so that the patient participates in the implementation of his/her own care as much as possible.
Emergency dialysis operations are centralized in Meilahti Hospital.
