In the Laakso Hospital X-ray unit, we conduct plain X-ray examinations without appointment and ultrasound examinations by appointment.
At the Laakso Hospital X-ray unit we perform plain X-ray examinations (bone, chest, long bones) without an appointment. You can come in for X-ray examinations when it best suits you.
You can book an appointment for ultrasound examinations by calling our customer service.
We have a patient lift, e.g., to transfer patients from a wheelchair to an examination table. Please call us in advance if you need to use a patient lift. More information about patient lifts.
We conduct examinations for customers of HUS area health centers and hospitals who are over 16 years of age. X-ray images of children are taken in the X-ray Unit at New Children’s Hospital or at Elielinaukio X-ray Unit.
You are free to choose your X-ray location
Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.
