The new main entrance A will be in use starting on Monday, April 20, 2026. It is on street level in the new building of Jorvi Hospital. The route to the main entrance is from Karvasmäentie.
The main entrance A and the info desk in the main lobby are open on weekdays 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., and on weekends and public holidays 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. During the night, the public should use the Jorvi Hospital entrance B, which can be opened via the intercom.
In the Jorvi Hospital X-ray unit, we perform plain X-ray examinations without an appointment and other imaging examinations with an appointment.

- Our X-ray unit is located on the 1st floor of Jorvi Hospital.
- Come in through Karvasmäentie 8 B and follow the continuous red line to the X-ray unit.
- On weekdays from 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., register at the X-ray unit office on the 1st floor.
- At other times, follow the instructions in the appointment letter.
- We have access to a patient lift when needed, e.g., to transfer patients from a wheelchair to an examination table.
- If you need a patient lift, please contact us in advance so we will have it ready for you.

- You will be informed of the appointment by letter.
MRI safety questionnaire
If you are coming for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), please remember to fill in the safety questionnaire. Bring the form with you to the scan. Please refer to your appointment letter for more information.
You are free to choose your X-ray location
Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.
How do I prepare for examinations and where do I get the results?
