At the Espoo Diabetes Center, we are responsible for the treatment of type 1 diabetes.

At the Espoo Diabetes Center, we are responsible for the treatment of type 1 diabetes.
We are a joint unit of HUS endocrinology and West Uusimaa wellbeing services county (LUVN) primary healthcare.
 
You need a referral for an appointment with a HUS specialist. For the primary healthcare services, you can book an appointment without a referral. Patients with type 2 diabetes are treated at health centers.
