Haartman Hospital’s X-ray unit is part of the Meilahti Emergency Department.
We perform medical imaging on patients who need urgent medical care and are treated at health centers of Helsinki or Meilahti Emergency Department.
To find us, enter via the Haartman Hospital's main entrance and follow the blue line to the right.
Other imaging units offer services in non-urgent situations.
You are free to choose your X-ray location
Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.

How do I prepare for examinations and where do I get the results?
Examinations always require a referral. See here for more information on preparing for examinations, on receiving the results, and instructions on ordering copies of your images.
