You can order an ID card for regulated social welfare and health care professionals, for non-regulated workers, and for non-clinical staff at our registration points.

 

You can order an ID card for regulated social welfare and health care professionals from our registration points also if you are a private healthcare professional. The ID card for regulated social welfare and health care professionals is intended for registered social welfare and healthcare professionals. The ID cards for non-regulated workers and non-clinical staff are intended for other employees in the healthcare organization.

We can only order ID cards without a photo at HUS registration points.

##   Registration points

We provide service at the following registration points: Meilahti, Jorvi, Peijas, Hyvinkää, Lohja, and Porvoo. Our main registration office in Meilahti is open every weekday, except during special opening hours. The service hours for all HUS registration points are listed in the appointment booking service calendar.

If you need barrier-free access to the Meilahti registration point, please contact the Meilahti registration point by phone or email, and we will arrange for an escort and, if necessary, transportation to the registration point.

##   Paying for the card

Pay the service fee via bank transfer.

Payee: HUS Group   
Account number: FI13 5000 0120 4851 48

Enter the following in the payment message field: VRK/ your name, along with the date and time you booked in the appointment calendar (please format your message as follows: VRK/John Doe, January 1, 2023, at 10:30 a.m.).

Print a bank receipt for the payment that shows the bank’s reference number. You can also show your payment receipt at the registration point using your mobile banking app.

At our Meilahti registration point, you can also pay by credit card when you visit. We accept the most common debit and credit cards (Visa and Mastercard). Cash is not accepted as a form of payment.

 



 



##   Visiting the registration point

At the registration point, verify your payment to the registrar using a bank statement or via mobile banking, and present a valid form of identification. We accept only passports or ID cards issued by the police as valid forms of identification. Without a receipt and a valid ID, we cannot complete your order. Payments made for the service are non-refundable.

Our registration staff will order an ID card to be sent to your home address and print out the order confirmation. It takes about two weeks for the ID card and activation code to arrive at your home. ID cards for non-regulated workers and non-clinical staff are ordered directly to the registration point, and we will send you an email invitation when they are ready for pickup. You will receive any backup cards directly when you visit.
