We offer psychiatric and medical consultations for intellectual disabilities as well as multiprofessional assessment and treatment inpatient periods. We assess the patient's mental health, challenging behavior, special cases of intellectual disability, and the needs for medication and rehabilitation. Our mobile consultants support clients in their daily environments with issues such as communication, autism spectrum disorders, multi-sensory impairment, and challenging behavior. The services are implemented in multiprofessional cooperation with the client, their next of kin, and other service providers. Our inpatient wards for people with intellectual disability in Lahti, Hämeenlinna, and Kerava offer advanced-level treatment and examination periods when the necessary support cannot be provided as outpatient care.
