For years, we have engaged in systematic quality and patient safety work. We are now building a shared, organisation-wide quality management system that meets the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard, to be introduced in stages. Our goal is that all our units will operate within a shared quality management system by the end of 2027. Half of our units are already ISO certified. The key objective of the shared quality management system is to - harmonise our operating methods - ensure patient safety and effective daily operations - to support the management and continuous development of patient care and the functions that support it. ## Quality Policy We at HUS provide our patients with high-quality and safe specialized healthcare services, aiming to generate health benefits for patients and the population. We deliver the services responsibly and in an economically sustainable manner.
