If you need to use a patient lift, please call in advance to the relevant unit. This will ensure that the patient lift is available. A patient lift may be required if you need to move on to an imaging table. For basic X-ray imaging, the patient needs to get up on the imaging table when the imaging cannot be performed with the patient sitting in the wheelchair. A patient lift is not required if you are able to move from the wheelchair to the imaging table on your own. If necessary, we will assist in moving you.
