Intermediate care unit patients require constant monitoring and care, as well as treatment methods and equipment developed for intensive care. The patient can be transferred to intermediate care from the Emergency Department, the surgical unit, an inpatient ward at Hyvinkää Hospital or another hospital, and directly from outside the hospital by prehospital emergency care. The Hyvinkää Hospital Intermediate Care is located in the immediate vicinity of the Emergency Department on floor P of the hospital. ## Visiting Hours Due to the nature of the unit and because your loved one needs rest, visitors are only allowed to stay for approximately 30 minutes.
