# Partners of New Children’s Hospital We work closely with our long-term partners for the benefit of the patients and their families and to develop research and treatment of pediatric diseases.  **The New Children’s Hospital Foundation** owns the New Children's Hospital property. The Foundation promotes children’s medical research, teaching, and specialization in pediatric medicine. The areas supported by the **Association of Friends of the University Children’s Hospitals** in the five university hospitals in Finland include - pediatric research - development of treatment methods and innovations - equipment purchases - patient comfort, and - mental health of children and adolescents. At our hospital, you can meet **HelsinkiMissio’s** volunteer Family Friends, who offer their presence, support and practical help to the patients and their families at the New Children’s Hospital. **Hospital clowns** delight families on weekdays in our hospital. Hospital clowns support the wellbeing of families and improve the child’s patient experience through joy, play, and imagination.
