##  Arrival instructions 

There is a long longitudinal slope on the access route to our main entrance (5%). The walkway has a snowmelt system. The main entrance has automatic sliding doors. There are no steps at the entrance.

You can enter Meilahti Triangle Hospital from the main entrance to Meilahti hospitals and Bridge Hospital, which are located in building number 1. You can check the location of the building on the map above. The entrance door opens automatically.

###   Info and registration

Our info desk is immediately adjacent to the main entrance. There is a low section of the info desk for wheelchair users. There are no chairs at the info desk.

To find the outpatient clinic registration desk, take the elevator, stairs, or ramp from the Triangle Hospital lobby. We use a waiting number system. There is a low service desk accessible while seated.

We use a waiting number system for admitting patients at the Emergency Department. There is a low service desk (760 mm) accessible while seated.

Unfortunately, there is no induction loop at our service desks.

###   Bicycle parking    

---

There are parking places for about 1,800 bicycles in the Meilahti Hospital campus. Bicycle racks are located in the yards of all of our hospitals. Majority of the racks allow securing the bike from the frame. During the city bike season, [the HSL bike stations](https://www.hsl.fi/en/citybikes) are located in the campus’s immediate vicinity.

The elevators in the lobby of the Triangle Hospital are through-car elevators and are dimensioned for patient transport.

Wheelchairs can be borrowed at our main entrance and at the assistive device service in the hospital lobby.

There are storage lockers in the lobby, some of them accessible while seated.

There is a barrier-free restroom in our main lobby. In this restroom, there is sufficient space on both sides of the toilet seat (at least 800 mm) for transferring from a wheelchair.

There is also a barrier-free restroom in the emergency clinic lobby. There is space for a wheelchair on both sides of the toilet seat.

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome, but otherwise pets are not allowed on the premises.

 



 



 

##  Parking in the hospital area 

There are several parking lots and three parking garages in the Meilahti hospital area. There is a barrier-free parking space in the parking garages, beside the entrance to the elevator lobby. The dropoff zones are the parking lot in front of the Haartman Hospital and the drive ramps to the Meilahti Tower Hospital.

A fee is charged for outdoor parking in the Meilahti hospital area.

Two means of payment are available for outdoor parking:

- Pay at a ticket machine before parking. Please note that most of the ticket machines only accept coins.
- Pay by mobile device. You may use the EasyPark or ParkMan apps. For further information, please contact the service providers.

###   Parking garages in the Meilahti hospital area

Meilahti Hospital patients and visitors can use the underground parking garages P1, P2 and P3. Our parking garages are open to customers Monday to Sunday 06:00–22:00.

When paying with a mobile app (EasyPark or Parkman), start the parking in the app when you enter the garage. You can also pay for the parking with a bank card at a ticket machine.

- **P1 (Haartmaninkatu 4):** Access to other buildings in the hospital area is via the outdoor area. The pedestrian exit is via the elevators in Biomedicum 1 (Haartmaninkatu 8). There is a ticket machine in the elevator lobby at the entrance level in Biomedicum.
- **P2 (Stenbäckinkatu 9):** There is a tunnel connecting this parking garage to other buildings in the hospital area. Ticket machines can be found along the pedestrian routes exiting the parking garage.
- **P3 (Zaidankatu 1):** There is a tunnel connecting this parking garage to other buildings in the hospital area. Ticket machines can be found along the pedestrian routes exiting the parking garage.

 



 



###   Accessible parking

Parking for disabled people is located outside near the hospitals’ main entrances, and near the pedestrian routes in the parking garages P1, P2 and P3. These parking spaces are free of charge.

The disabled parking permit must be placed inside the car’s windshield so that it is fully visible from the outside. With the disabled parking permit, you can also park in the paid parking spaces.
