We develop and maintain critical systems, enable data-driven management, and bring artificial intelligence into everyday healthcare.  ## HUS IT Management builds the healthcare of the future IT Management is a transformative partner that enables the most impactful care through data, digitalisation, and technology. With over 400 experts, we are responsible for the operation of approximately 2,000 systems, handle around 20,000 service requests each month, and develop technological solutions in close collaboration with other HUS units and our stakeholders. Our key areas of operation are: - Data, AI and Digital Services - Patient Information Systems - Administration Information Systems - Basic IT Equipment and Information Security In addition, we coordinate enterprise architecture, quality, and development across organisational boundaries. ## How do we impact patients and professionals? Our solutions are visible in everyday healthcare. When a nurse records patient data, a physician reviews examination results, or a researcher builds new insights through data, we are there making it possible. Our work supports care delivery, research, and management so that healthcare professionals can focus on what matters most – human interaction. ## We support and resolve --- Our IT support service provides round-the-clock assistance to HUS staff and partners in IT-related service and support requests. Our partners are also supported by dedicated Customer Relations Managers, whose role is to identify and address the IT needs of units in collaboration with our other IT experts. Our Application and Customer Support Services specialists are responsible for supporting shared systems, including reporting, quality assurance, system testing, and organising maintenance training. ## We secure and protect --- We ensure that patient data is secure and that systems operate reliably in all situations. We build security that remains largely invisible – yet is critically important. ## We manage data and develop intelligently --- HUS has been a pioneer in data platforms and analytics for decades. We develop solutions that integrate artificial intelligence into smooth care pathways, resource planning, and professionals’ daily work. ## We train and guide --- We are responsible for providing basic IT training and for guiding the use and utilisation of information systems. We place particular emphasis on supporting system use to ensure data quality and integrity throughout the entire process or care pathway – from the beginning of care to reporting. In cooperation with regional and national stakeholders, we also provide support services for new national information system services. We have established long-term partnerships with experienced providers for IT training and support services. ## We innovate together --- We develop services in collaboration with clinicians, researchers, and technology partners.
