The Department of Oncology X-ray unit is moving to new premises from 22 April to 10 May 2024. During this time, we recommend asking the x-ray secretary on the 1st floor for the correct location of the waiting room.
From May 13, 2024, CT examinations will be performed on the 3rd floor of the old part of the Cancer Center, and mammography and ultrasound examinations on the 8th floor. In the future, the X-ray secretaries will be on the 8th floor.
In the Department of Oncology X-ray unit, we conduct imaging examinations by appointment.
The Oncology Outpatient Clinic will book you an appointment for the examination. You will be informed of the appointment by letter.
We have access to a patient lift when needed, e.g., for patients who use a wheelchair. If you need a patient lift, please contact us in advance so we will have it ready for you. More information about patient lifts.

You are free to choose your X-ray location
Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.
How do I prepare for examinations and where do I get the results?
