The Skin and Allergy Hospital houses the only dermatopathology laboratory in Finland. Our operations are focused on outpatient and day ward care. We do not have an emergency department, but we do treat patients with emergency referrals at our outpatient clinics on weekdays. We train future health care professionals in our hospital. Students may participate in your care with your permission. Consenting or refusing student participation will not affect your care. ## Skin and Allergy Hospital visiting hours Visiting hours are listed [on each ward’s web page.](https://www.hus.fi/en/patient/hospitals-and-other-units/skin-and-allergy-hospital/units) Not all units are open to visitors due to the specific nature of their operations. Such units do not have visiting hours. Our hospital is smoke-free.
