It is on street level in the new building of Jorvi Hospital. The route to the main entrance is from Karvasmäentie. The main entrance A and the info desk in the main lobby are open on weekdays 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., and on weekends and public holidays 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. During the night, the public should use the Jorvi Hospital entrance B, which can be opened via the intercom. All bariatric surgeries in HUS region take place in our unit. We have an operating robot and robot-assisted surgery is used in hernia repairs. We also perform endocrinological surgery, such as thyroid surgeries, as well as plastic, burn, and back surgery. More than half of our surgeries are emergency surgical procedures.
