Our Infectious Diseases Outpatient Clinic accepts patients by appointment only and on referral from a physician in primary health care, other outpatient care units or specialist medical care units. Infectious Diseases Outpatient Clinic is part of the unit Triangle Hospital Outpatient Clinic. Our outpatient clinic does not provide any emergency care. We examine, treat and monitor severe, persistent or chronic infectious diseases. Examples of typical cases include HIV, persistent postoperative infections requiring extensive antibiotic treatments, and unexplained fever. We also examine and treat congenital and acquired immunodeficiencies and tropical infectious diseases. Our outpatient clinic has infectious disease specialists and physicians specializing in infectious diseases, and also nurses who are well versed for instance in managing HIV infections and immunoglobulin replacement therapy. We also have social workers and secretaries.
