In the Malmi Hospital X-ray unit, we perform plain X-ray examinations without an appointment and other imaging examinations with an appointment. - Imaging of children younger than 7 years of age is conducted in the X-ray unit at New Children's Hospital. [New Children's Hospital X-ray unit](/en/patient/hospitals-and-other-units/new-childrens-hospital/new-childrens-hospital-x-ray-unit "New Children's Hospital X-ray unit") - X-ray images of children with suspected fractures as well as children's fracture controls are always taken in the X-ray Unit at New Children’s Hospital. - We perform examinations for customers from HUS area health centers and hospitals. - We do not take dental and jaw X-rays, X-rays of scoliosis nor perform mechanical axis examinations of lower extremities. ## We perform these examinations without an appointment --- - Bone X-ray - Chest X-ray ## We perform these examinations with an appointment --- - MRI - Computed tomography (CT) - Ultrasound examination You can make an appointment for ultrasound examinations either in Maisa or by calling our customer service. For CT and MRI you will be given an appointment and you will be informed of the appointment by letter. ## Arrival instructions --- - Our X-ray unit is located at the Malmi Hospital. - Come in through the main entrance, from the side of the street, Malmin sairaalakatu. Bring the form with you to the scan.
