Our activities are divided into two teams. ## Treatment team Our tasks include treating the initial phase or exacerbation of your mental illness according to your needs. Our treatment team functions as a means of support for outpatient clinics and the psychiatric ward. We enable a close care contact in your home and are thus able to prevent you from being admitted to the hospital or speed up your discharge from the hospital. Together with the first-episode psychosis patient's treatment team, we can participate in your home rehabilitation, initial-phase examination, detailing of your diagnosis, psychoeducation, and family work. In addition, if you are experiencing a need for acute psychiatric treatment, we can refer you to intensive outpatient care, which is a substitute for inpatient treatment at a hospital. ## Emergency team Our emergency team cooperates with the Hyvinkää Hospital Emergency Clinic and the local health centers in emergency assessments between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Our team performs emergency assessments for the need of inpatient hospital care as well as urgent assessments of the need for specialist medical care.
