Show all keywords - [lung cancer](< /en/search?q=lung cancer >) - [asthma](< /en/search?q=asthma >) On the Pulmonary Diseases Ward 6A, we mainly treat patients within the HUS area, but our ward also carries the national treatment responsibility for lung transplant patients. On our ward, we treat various lung diseases, such as patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, pneumonia, pulmonary fibrosis, and lung cancer. Our ward works closely with the other Heart and Lung Center units, in terms of treatment of diseases of the pleura. We train future health care professionals in our unit. We hope that you will allow students to participate in your care. Consenting or refusing student participation will not affect your care.
