The joint neurosurgery service number for patients and their family members opens on March 1, 2023
Keywords:Starting from Wednesday, March 1, 2023, we will serve our patients at HUS from a single telephone number in all matters related to neurosurgery. The telephone service will be open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to noon at 09 471 87550.
As of March 1, 2023, the new neurosurgery service number will replace the previous numbers intended for patient calls. In the future, calls will connect automatically from these numbers to the new number.
A common service number will make the use of services easier and reduce congestion in telephone appointments.
The neurosurgery telephone service provides help in matters related to changing appointment times, referrals, enquiries about a family member and neurosurgeries.
The bulletins provided by the telephone service are available in Finnish, Swedish and English. Some of the calls will be connected directly to a professional, while others will be directed to the call-back service. We will make an effort to return calls during the same day.
Follow these steps:
Call the neurosurgery telephone service at 09 471 87550.
- Dial 1 if your matter concerns a referral or an outpatient clinic visit.
- Dial 2 if you are calling the inpatient ward.
- Dial 3 if you want to ask about something related to a surgery or a procedure.
We ask that our patients also use the Maisa portal, where possible, with their mobile application or with a browser at www.maisa.fi.
