Influenza vaccinations for at-risk groups and their immediate family started in HUS hospitals—Meilahti Hospital also vaccinates at-risk groups with COVID-19 vaccines

An influenza and COVID-19 vaccination point has been opened in Meilahti Tower Hospital on October 30, 2023. Influenza vaccination points will be opened in two other HUS hospitals in November.

The influenza vaccine is available without appointment to people at risk of severe influenza who live in Uusimaa and their healthy immediate family members. More on who's at-risk on the THL (Finnish National Institute for Health and Welfare) website (in Finnish).  

The COVID-19 vaccine is available at the Meilahti Tower Hospital vaccination point without appointment to people who are at risk for severe coronavirus disease and live in Uusimaa. More on who's at-risk on the THL (Finnish National Institute for Health and Welfare) website (in Finnish).  

The vaccination point in Meilahti Hospital is open from October 30 through December 8, 2023, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Check the opening hours of the vaccination points in HUS hospitals (in Finnish).

You must not have any symptoms of an infectious disease when you arrive to the vaccination site. We recommend that patients who belong to an at-risk group wear a surgical face mask.
