Instructions for visiting pediatric units

To prevent the spread of the coronavirus, patients, and their escorts over the age of 12 must wear a face mask in the children’s units.  Please wear a mask before you enter the premises. If you do not have a mask, please ask the staff for one.

One guardian may accompany a child patient to the hospital. People accompanying patients must be free of any symptoms of a respiratory infection.

Only one guardian at a time may visit their child at a ward. One guardian may stay the night in the child’s room.

The patient’s siblings are not allowed to visit, because children infected with COVID-19 may only present mild symptoms.
