COVID-19 vaccines

COVID-19 vaccines are currently being administered in the Uusimaa region. 

COVID-19 vaccine protects against the COVID-19 disease and especially its severe forms. Vaccination is voluntary and free of charge.

HUS will organize vaccinations for its own staff, and the staff working for HUS via subcontractors, according to the national vaccination order as agreed separately with HUS Occupational Health Services. 

Municipalities will provide vaccinations for their social and healthcare personnel, other social and healthcare personnel working in the municipality’s area, and the residents. Municipalities may organize the vaccination process together with other municipalities and/or private service providers.
