This guide does not discuss the monitoring of your pregnancy, health promotion in pregnancy, preparing for parenthood or caring for the baby at home, because the maternity health clinics are responsible for these topics. Please contact your maternity health clinic in these matters.
In 2017, 16 463 women altogether gave birth at the three HUS maternity units. One in three Finns is born in HUS hospitals!
