Gynecological emergency care

Gynecological emergency clinics treat gynecological patients and problems in early pregnancy (see Emergency care for pregnant women) requiring emergency care. Common problems requiring emergency care at the gynecological emergency clinic include acute diseases of the reproductive organs, such as inflammations and acute pain states.

In the main, a physician’s referral is necessary to be admitted for treatment at the gynecological emergency clinic. However, if they suffer from post-gynecological operation complications, patients can also seek treatment at the gynecological emergency clinic without referral.

In all emergency situations, the emergency clinic should be called before leaving for the hospital.
