Maternity Outpatient Clinic appointments are held on the first floor; enter via the hospital main entrance on the 2nd floor. Please register by using a self-registration kiosk located in the entrance lobby.
The Maternity Outpatient Clinic monitors risk pregnancies. Appointments are scheduled on referral only. A patient can be referred to the clinic by a maternity health clinic physician, public health nurse, or a private practitioner. On basis of the referral, a physician at the Maternity Outpatient Clinic will assess the need for treatment and its urgency. The customer will be notified of a scheduled appointment by letter or by telephone.
An invitation letter to the first term ultrasound scan will be sent based on the background information received from the maternity health clinic. Ultrasound screenings are performed on Bulevardi in Helsinki, HUS Prenatal Screening Unit.

The outpatient clinic functions as a teaching unit for students in different stages of medical and healthcare studies.

You are not allowed to come to our clinic if you have symptoms of an infection or have been exposed to the coronavirus (COVID-19). If you are healthy you can come to your appointment. One healthy support person / spouse is allowed to join the appointment.Wash your hands carefully with soap and use hand disinfectant before or immediately after you enter the clinic.
