Disorders of female hormonal function, infertile couples and gynecological disorders of young women are examined and treated at the Reproductive Medicine Unit. The unit also provides hormonal therapy for transgender people. The unit houses a sperm and IVF laboratory. A referral from a physician is required for an appointment at the unit.
HUS aims to initiate fertility treatments with donated gametes at the end of 2019. HUS does not accept referrals for treatments with donated cells for the time being.

The Reproductive Medicine Unit has moved in August 2019. The new premises are located on the second and third floors of Tilkan Viuhka, a new building next to Tilkka's former military hospital.
