The ward’s visiting hours are between 13:00 and 18:00.

Patients are referred  to the Töölö Hospital Emergency Ward by the Accident and Emergency Department or outpatient clinic, or are admitted for elective surgery. After surgery, patients are transferred to a ward or another hospital for follow-up care, or are discharged. Treatment periods are short.

The Emergency Ward treats traumatology, orthopedic, and oral and maxillofacial surgery patients. The ward has 15 beds.
