The Dialysis Training Unit provides treatment to patients with chronic renal failure. Dialysis is performed three times a week, for about 4-5 hours at a time. The unit strongly supports patient independence and encourages patient self-care. The Dialysis Training Unit is responsible for teaching patients how to perform hemodialysis independently.

 

After the training period, patients can visit either of the two dialysis satellite units by B. Braum (Malmi or Pitäjänmäki).
 

The training Unit has 11 dialysis stations operating in two shifts. Treatment is available on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
 

The Dialysis Training Unit also provides holiday hemodialysis services.
