The dialysis centre provides treatment in two locations: the Meilahti Triangle Hospital (Delta) and the Surgical Hospital (KiDi). KiDi has 11 dialysis stations.
KiDi provides treatment to patients requiring inpatient hemodialysis and to those just starting their hemodialysis treatment. Patients are referred to KiDi from other dialysis and health care units when chronic renal failure progresses to a stage where dialysis is required, or in the event of prolonged acute renal failure.
The dialysis centre has a multidisciplinary care team working in close co-operation with the patients and their families to provide timely, high-quality care.
