The day ward with eight beds operates in connection with the Internal Medicine Outpatient Ward during office hours. In addition to handling the antibody therapies of several specialities, the day ward provides cytotoxic drug treatment for haematological and lung cancer patients. The day ward also administers blood products, antibiotic intravenous infusions, i.v. cortisone treatments, and antiosteoporotic medications.
