The magnetic resonance imaging unit of the New Children's Hospital is located on the K floor.

Magnetic resonance imaging has the capability to produce both precise anatomical images and also provide functional imaging without exposing the patient to radiation. The method is based on how hydrogen atoms present in the body react to the magnetic field created by the machine. Magnetic resonance imaging is suitable for examining patients of various ages from newborn babies to the elderly.

MRIs require a booked appointment. The unit responsible for the patient's treatment will book the appointment and send the appointment information to the patient in a letter.
