The ward treats patients suffering from a range of pulmonary diseases, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, pneumonia, pulmonary fibrosis, and lung cancer.
Patients are admitted to the ward via the Meilahti Tower Hospital’s Emergency Clinic, as hospital or speciality-related transfers, or based on an appointment. The ward has 16 beds.
