The inpatient ward M4-M5 of Meilahti Tower Hospital treats patients requiring emergency gastroenterological or vascular surgery, as well as patients with acute urological problems.
Patients are admitted to the ward from the emergency clinic if they need emergency care and monitoring as well as further examinations. Patients typically suffer from gastrointestinal bleeding, pancreatitis, abdominal pain, bowel obstruction or gall bladder-related problems.
