The Meilahti Hospital area houses Meilahti Tower Hospital, Meilahti Triangle Hospital, the Department of Oncology, the Eye and Ear Hospital, the Children’s Hospital, the Children’s Castle (Hospital), the Women’s Hospital, the Psychiatric Outpatient Clinics and Haartman Hospital (City of Helsinki). Other facilities located in the area include the HUS administration building, material centre, service centre, power centre and real estate services as well as the Medical Library and Biomedicum Helsinki 1 and 2.
Currently, the Meilahti hospital area is undergoing extensive development, which also affects patient and visitor access to the area.
Make sure you have enough time to move from one place to another, as the number of parking spaces and pedestrian routes is limited due to construction.
