Pulmonary Diseases Outpatient Clinic is open 8:00–15:00.
The Jorvi Hospital Pulmonary Diseases Outpatient Clinic is part of the Joint Outpatient Clinic in Jorvi Hospital. The Pulmonary Diseases Outpatient Clinic is specialized in pulmonary diseases in adults, and it mainly treats patients from Espoo, Kirkkonummi, and Kauniainen.
Our patients are referred to our appointments with basic test results from health centres, private health care, occupational health care, or from other special health care units. According to the information in the referral, we plan other necessary tests and evaluate the urgency of the treatment.
The largest disease groups at the outpatient clinic are:
- Sleep apnoea
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
- Asthma
- Lung cancer
- Pulmonary tissue diseases
- Tuberculosis
The outpatient clinic analyses and performs follow-up for various abnormal imaging findings.
The outpatient clinic has at its disposal a wide range of services from radiology, clinical physiology, and clinical neurophysiology units.
We also perform bronchoscopies and treat lung cancer with cytostatic drugs. The Sleep Apnoea Clinic also operates at the Pulmonary Diseases Outpatient clinic specialising in CPAP treatment of sleep apnoea patients.
