Operations at the Jorvi Cardiac Unit are performed between Monday and Friday.
The Meilahti unit offers emergency services around the clock.

The unit has one treatment room where the most common procedures are:

• coronary artery angiography
• coronary balloon angioplasty
• pacemaker implantation

If required, an echocardiography can be performed in the unit's observation room on patients arriving for procedures.

The unit works in close collaboration with Cardiology Ward S7. Most patients arrive for examinations and treatment from the inpatient ward, which also provides day hospital care.
