The outpatient clinic is open Monday to Friday, 7.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.,
and it comprises the practices of 2–3 specialists with assisting nurses, a rehabilitation counsellor and sleep, asthma and cancer nurses. A day hospital operates in connection with the outpatient clinic providing treatment such as drug therapy for lung cancer and monitoring patients coming in for a bronchoscopy or other procedures. The most common diseases treated in the outpatient clinic include asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diseases of the pulmonary tissue, sleep apnoea and lung cancer.
