The clinic performs endoscopies of the alimentary tract, lungs and urinary tracts for the area’s outpatient health care and on adult patients at the hospital’s various speciality clinics.
In addition, the clinic performs a range of function studies. The clinic has also begun to perform urinary tract function studies on children.
In order for the most common endoscopic procedures to be readily available, the member municipalities have created a cooperation model thanks to which the basic examinations are available for the patient in the health centre.
A Pelvic Floor Clinic, consisting of professionals from a range of specialities, operates in connection with the Endoscopic Outpatient Clinic.
