The Operating Rooms for Eye Diseases of the Eye and Ear Hospital performs cataract, strabismus, corneal, vitreoretinal and glaucoma surgery as well as oculoplastic surgery on patients of all ages. The unit also treats eye injuries and tumors.
The unit is one of the on-call anesthesia and operating units in the HUCH area and has national responsibility for retinal on-call procedures at weekends.
