The Forensic Psychiatry Outpatient Clinics examine, treat and rehabilitate psychotic patients with severe symptoms. As a special task, the clinic treats forensic psychiatric patients and implements treatment during a monitoring period stipulated by the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), assesses the risk of violence and prevents violent behaviour.
