Changes to laboratories in the Lappeenranta area
The opening hours of the South Karelia Central Hospital laboratory will be extended starting from March 9, 2026.
The Leiri laboratory will only serve customers by appointment and urgent customers until April 30, 2026, after which its services will be transferred to the South Karelia Central Hospital.
In the Leiri laboratory we serve customers with booked appointments.
- For urgent sampling, you do not need to book an appointment.
- We accept referrals from private physicians.
- Our laboratory is located on the ground floor of a residential building at the intersection of Lönnrotinkatu and Valtakatu.

Parking
- Our laboratory has four parking disc spaces.
- There are more parking spaces along the street.
- Especially in winter, parking spaces are limited.
- Register at the self-registration kiosk when you arrive at the laboratory.
- Our laboratory has a return machine, where you can return most common samples taken at home during the laboratory's opening hours.

You can book a laboratory appointment online. When booking, you will receive instructions on cancelling or rescheduling your booked appointment. You always need a referral for laboratory tests.
