At Elielinaukio, we perform plain X-ray examinations without appointment and other imaging examinations by appointment. Elielinaukio X-ray unit is only for patients without upper respiratory symptoms or suspicion of coronavirus infection.
We are located in the city center of Helsinki, in the Postitalo facilities. The main entrance is through doors from Elielinaukio.
We conduct examinations for customers over 7 years of age from HUS area health centers and hospitals. Imaging of children younger than this is conducted in the X-ray unit at the New Children's Hospital. X-ray images of children with suspected fractures are always taken in the X-ray Unit at New Children’s Hospital.
We perform plain X-ray examinations, i.e. bone and chest imaging without an appointment. You can come in for X-ray examinations when it best suits you. Register in the waiting room at the self-registration kiosk.
Ultrasound examinations and bone density tests are carried out by appointment. You can make an appointment by calling our customer service. If you are booking an examination for a child under the age of 16, make the appointment by phone.
