Visiting Hours: Free for parents and siblings, for other visitors from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Whenever possible, one of the parents can stay overnight at the ward.
Pediatric surgery ward K8 in the Children’s Hospital and Pediatric and Surgery Ward ULS3 in the Meilahti Tower Hospital work in close collaboration. Both wards treat pediatric surgical patients, partially same patients. Patients with severe conditions and patients that may require on call procedures and examinations are mainly treated on ward K8. When the patient recovers, the care continues on ward ULS3. Part of the patients are treated entirely on ward K8 or ULS3.
