Visiting hours: Parents are allowed to be with their child on the ward at any time, other visits should be discussed with personnel.


Care is provided to surgical patients aged 0 to 3 years. The ward has 13 beds, including 5 monitoring beds. Monitoring beds are for patients who need constant monitoring and readiness for immediate treatment procedures. The treatment period can be anything from a few days to several months. Some patients undergo several surgeries during their stay. Respiratory and nutritional disorders, for example, are likely to require lengthy periods of hospitalization.

  • Surgical treatment and follow-up of anomalies of the neonatal digestive tract
  • Hepatic and biliary surgery of neonates and infants
  • Severe intestinal disorders in infants such as short-bowel syndrome
  • Abdominal and general surgery of infants
  • Examination and treatment of diseases of the digestive tract in infants
  • Neonatal neurosurgery
  • Congenital anomalies of the respiratory system
  • Treatment and monitoring of vascular anomalies in infants
  • Initial care for burns in infants
