What should you bring to the hospital?

Remember to bring

  • your child's health insurance card
  • your child's health information card from the antenatal clinic or school health care with information on weight and height development
  • any rare medications and contact medications (eye drop, nasal sprays, etc.) your child might use
  • your child's favourite toy and supplies for personal hygiene (e.g. toothbrush).

Do not bring valuables or large amounts of money to the hospital. The hospital is not liable for lost items. Parents are advised not to leave their own mobile phones, money, etc. unattended. Like all HUS hospitals, the Children's Hospital is a non-smoking hospital. Alcohol and illegal drugs are not allowed in hospitals.
